PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE USING MACHINE LEARNING, ADVANCED ALGORITHMS AND CLOUD COMPUTING FOR DOY-PACK PACKAGING MACHINES (TURING)

Volpak successfully carried out the TURING Project, an innovation initiative focused on developing a predictive maintenance solution using machine learning, advanced algorithms, and cloud computing technologies.

The project aimed to monitor, in real time, the entire fleet of Doy-pack packaging machines to anticipate potential failures and reduce unplanned downtimes. Through advanced data analysis and predictive models, the system enabled proactive maintenance strategies, improving machine reliability and overall productivity.

With the completion of TURING, Volpak strengthened its position as a technological leader in smart manufacturing, demonstrating its commitment to digital transformation, innovation, and operational excellence in the packaging industry.

This project received public funding from the European Union to support research and innovation in advanced manufacturing technologies.
